Striped Bell Sleeve Sweater

Sweater | Jeans | Coat | Hat | Boots (this year's version) | Monogram Ring

It seems like every sweater I've been purchasing as of late has belle sleeves. I got this one on sale from LOFT a few weeks ago and have been loving the details in it- the buttons on the shoulders and the stripes around the sleeves and bottom. The red and gold is so festive for the holidays and could easily be dressed up with black pants or a skirt! I dressed it down today by pairing it with jeans and a warm hat. I don't shop at Athleta often, but I walked in when I was at the mall recently and saw so many good quality pieces! I loved the pattern on this turtleneck but ended up just getting this maroon hat I knew I would get a ton of use out of.

Sales To Shop This Black Friday

Now that Thanksgiving is over we can officially start the Holiday season. I'm not one to wake up at the crack of dawn and shop like crazy; I prefer to shop the sales online or just browse at the mall later in the day once the craziness has died down. There are a ton of great sales I'm looking forward to, especially LOFT and J. Crew. I got a few great sweaters from LOFT that are so cute and cozy and I already want to stock up on more. Black Friday is also a great time to stock up on basics like a great coat like they have at J. Crew. I recently got the Cocoon Coat from J. Crew which I know will be a staple in my wardrobe. Holiday Tartan

Happy Thanksgiving y'all! This is the outfit I am wearing today for Thanksgiving dinner with my family. It's the perfect dressy but still comfy outfit (the shift style provides plenty of room to fill up on turkey and stuffing). When I saw this dress online I knew I had to have it: shift dress, black watch plaid, and ruffle sleeves! I kept my accessories simple with these nude colored flats and purse. I stuck with flats because I hate wearing heels (if you feel the same but need some height check out my post about my favorite heels for high-heel-haters).  I added my new coat from J. Crew on top since I am visiting Chicago and it's quite a bit cooler here than at home in NC! I purchased this coat at the beginning of the season because I am headed on a trip to Europe this winter and it's going to be pretty cold!! I think this outfit would be perfect for any event coming up this holiday season!
I truly have so much to be thankful for each and every year and am so grateful for my family, friends and readers to name just a few!

What are you thankful for?

Classic Fall Outfit + Ruffle Sleeve Sweater

How cute are the ruffle sleeves on this sweater!

Sweater (on sale!) | Skirt (similar) | Jacket | Scarf | Boots (this year's version)
Purse | Sunglasses | Monogram Ring

This is definitely a super similar outfit to what I've worn earlier this fall. It seems like we kind of skipped the cool weather and went straight to cold winter weather and all of a sudden it was under 40 degrees when I was walking to class in the morning! This sweater has been the perfect piece to transition into my outfits because it's a little warmer than a regular top. I especially love how the ruffle sleeves look peeking out of the cuffed sleeves of my jacket. It's such a simple piece but the ruffle sleeves add the perfect little detail. I have this sweater in two colors and might have to get another because Banana Republic is offering 40% off your entire purchase!

Holiday Outfit Picks

November seemed to come out of nowhere and it's crazy to think I will be home in two weeks for Thanksgiving break. I tend to wait until the last minute to think about what to wear for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I'm feeling really on top of it this year! I did some browsing online and found so many cute pieces from Old Navy, J. Crew Factory, and Nordstrom that I'm so excited to share with y'all. Also, I couldn't narrow it down, so there are even more products in the widgets below that I couldn't fit in the graphic!  I'm loving all the velvet pieces in stores right now but can't get over how perfect the plaids and tartans are for the holidays.
